Latte art is a method of preparing coffee created by pouring steamed milk into a shot of espresso, creating a pattern or design on the surface of the drink. Latte art requires first producing espresso with crema and microfoam, and them combining these to make latte art. There are two main types of latte ar: free pouring, where a pattern is created during the pouring, and etching, where a tool is used to create a pattern after the pour.
