How to Install and Use Photoshop Actions
Step 1
To install the action file, navigate to the Photoshop Actions folder on your hard drive, normally c: >Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop > Presets > Actions.
You can either download the file directly into this folder, or copy/cut and paste it into the folder from wherever it downloaded to on your hard drive, alternatively, you can drag and drop it into this folder.
Step 2
Open Photoshop and open the Actions panel on the right of the screen. Navigate to the downloaded action as shown in the image below:
Note: You have to re-open Photoshop after installing the action file for it to show in the list.
Loading Actions from Other Folders
If you want to store action files in a different folder, you can load it into Photoshop by using the Load Actions… option from the drop-down menu (number 3 on the above image) and navigating to the folder you have stored the action file in.
